About Alicia Falcone
Founder and owner of BrandWORKS, Alicia Falcone works with businesses and individuals to help them achieve their business goals. She accomplishes this by guiding her clients through the process to identify what sets them apart before helping them to develop relevant key messages and a road map of marketing activity that reaches their target audience.
Unusual for a marketer, she has education and training in areas of finance and accounting. This gives her a rare ability to combine left brain thinking that demands marketing provide a return on investment with her intuitive right brain understanding of people and communications.
As a marketing consultant, coach and trainer, Alicia helps her clients develop stand-out brands and marketing strategies. She offers services for budgets of all sizes including custom consulting projects, group and individual coaching programs, training and strategic project management.
Prior to starting BrandWORKS, Alicia spent the majority of her career in progressive marketing roles at the Sprint Nextel Corporation. Starting there in Finance roles, she learned that effective marketing lowers customer acquisition costs, improves bottom line revenue and increases profitability. She also learned that her creative abilities along with her analytical talent are better served in Marketing. Some of her work there included using customer data and research to understand what drives people to make purchase decisions, developing successful strategy to acquire targeted consumers, managing complex marketing partnerships, planning and implementing multi-million dollar, integrated marketing campaigns and creating successful direct marketing strategies and programs.
Passionate about many things, there is no “halfway” or “off-button” for her. If it is worth her time, then it gets both her heart and mind. Besides her passion for marketing, Alicia is a voracious learner. She is a self-taught direct marketer, social media enthusiast, negotiator, remodeler of old homes and landscape design hobbyist. Currently learning all she can about Social Media and Web 2.0, Alicia is intrigued about the concepts of Crowd Sourcing, Thought Leadership Marketing and the effect of Social Media on online search.
A foodie who enjoys cooking, avid traveler and book lover, Alicia looks forward to a good conversation with friends and family shared over a meal. She is also cheerleader, personal chef, chauffeur, and homework assistant to her two sons. In her community, she serves on several non-profit boards and committees.
A self-admitted type A personality, she is not patient with duplicity, people who drive slow, close-mindedness, dishonesty, know-it-alls, personal agendas, lack of results, complacency or bad marketing.
An alumna of the University of Kansas , Alicia is a Jayhawk fan with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration and a MBA from Rockhurst University.
